Why Work at EnergySmart?

In our three decades helping homeowners reduce their energy usage and keep their homes as comfortable as possible in the harsh New England climate, we have learned that our most important asset isn’t the fancy technology we use, the building we work in, or even the cutting edge building science knowledge. Our most important asset is our employees, and we aim to treat them like our MVPs!

What Our Employees Are Saying

  • I like working for Energy Smart because it is a very friendly and family-oriented place, the hours are flexible, the benefits are great, and so are the people I work with. I have been an employee going on 7 years, started at the bottom doing the insulation work, and now the auditing.

LEARN ABOUT OUR COMPANY

You'll Learn to Use the Whole-Home Approach

At EnergySmart of Vermont, we have learned that the best approach to making homes more comfortable and efficient is to incorporate the entire home as a system. A home is a culmination of many smaller systems, like the insulation, the heating and cooling equipment, and the airtight envelope that separates the living space from the outdoors.

Utilizing our comprehensive energy audit process, we have found a tried and true system of unlocking the knowledge we need to make the right home improvements, the first time, all while helping our fellow Vermonters breathe cleaner air, avoid ice dams, and keep moisture out of their homes!
